David M. Moody, 77, of Lima passed away at 5:27 PM on Monday, March 17, 2025, at his residence.
He was born on June 9, 1947, in Lima to Francis and Helen (Parker) Moody, who both preceded him in death. On March 12, 1967, he married Cheryl (Main) Moody, who preceded him in death on September 16, 1990. He later married Tina (Musto) Moody, who also preceded him in death.
David had worked for American Electric Power as a Test Specialist and retired having been there for over 30 years. He also was a special deputy for the Allen County Sheriff's Department for over 20 years. He enjoyed going to the Lima Eagle's frequently. He loved The Ohio State Buckeyes and enjoyed riding his Harley. He loved his dogs, especially his cadaver K-9, Jake. Dave didn't know a stranger and loved to talk to everyone.
Surviving are his daughter Cindy (Cliff) Barber of Lima; his son Wade Moody of Kissimmee, FL; his grandchildren Stephanie Stein, Kevin Barber, Ty Moody and Jaden Moody; his great-grandchildren Cayde
