Evelyn Marie Schultz Horner, 84, of St. Marys, 10:35 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.She was born July 8, 1940, in St. Marys, the daughter of Howard W. and Marie E. (Gottschalk) Schultz.She married John K. Horner on June 10, 1973, and he preceded her in death on October 26, 1982.She is survived by her brothers: Charles Schultz of Reno, Nevada and Joseph Schultz of Columbus, Ohio; by a niece Marie E. Schultz.She was preceded in death by her parents.She was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. She had worked for many years as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.Evelyn was baptised, confirmed and married at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in St. Marys. She served on the board of Christian education at the church, where she had also been a Sunday School teacher. She and her husband John moved to Missouri where she was active at the Immanuel United Church of Christ in Ferguson. She was a former Girl Scout Leader.Funeral rites w
